You might be retirees or a young family, adrenaline junkies or environmental warriors. Whether you want down time off-grid, a high energy adventure, or just a new experience, you're in for a treat.

In general, we can do something for you with a couple of days’ notice. But for peak seasons like Christmas or Easter, you’ll need to book well in advance. We’re just a small island with limited accommodation providers!

In any case it’s worth a shot, so get in touch and we’ll see what magic we can work.

We are deeply connected to the motu and very much a part of the community although we’re not living there full time anymore. So you’re not likely to run into us 10 times in three days, but worry not! We have all the connections to get you what you need, when you need it.

Staying close to our island whanau and supporting the local economy is as important to us as your enjoyable stay.

Let’s face it - an off-grid adventure is pretty, well, off-grid. So cellphone coverage and wifi are available in some places but not for large parts of the island. It’s part of the appeal!

Coverage also depends on your service provider. Most accommodation providers have wifi, but we’ll confirm this once you’re booked.

When you book, we’ll give you a full itinerary with contact details, including our email for primary communication.

You’ll get the phone numbers for for your accommodation, airlines, and dining places.

The island is a place where we’re used to helping each other because life is different here. If you need help, we’ll have made sure you know where to get it. Plus you can flag down any passing car and they’ll know what to do!

In the case of bad weather and flights to the motu, we'll transfer you holiday to another date that suits. Cancelled bookings <28 days are non refundable, or <45 days will receive a 50% refund. Either are also eligible for transfer to other available dates.
